Can I apply Stone Finish over textured drywall?Updated 2 years ago

Earthaus Stone finish can cover very light drywall texture.  If the texture is medium to heavy,  It may need to be scraped down and an extra coat of plaster applied to bury the texture.   In some cases the texture may need to be skimmed and sanded with drywall compound and then primed before plaster application.
