Refinishing Earthaus Tadelakt Finish

 1. Sand Down the Seal: Remove the hydrophobic Olive Oil Soap burnished Tadelakt layer to expose absorbent textured plaster:

• Use coarse sandpaper (80-100 grit) or an electric sander to sand off the burnished layer.
  
• Sand evenly, taking care not to damage or gouge the surface until the plaster is matte and slightly rough.
• Thoroughly clean the plaster with a damp cloth to ensure it is completely free of dust particles.

2. Re-Apply Tadelakt Coats and subsequent materials: Follow the steps in the Tadelakt Finish Application Guide.
