How long do Earthaus plasters take to set up once mixed?Updated 2 years ago

Earthaus plasters contain lime and fine pumice aggregate.  When mixed with water these two materials come together to form a mild pozzolanic (cementitious) reaction.   In contrast to cement, the Earthaus reaction happens relatively slowly.  Our plasters will store in a mixed state for up to 2 weeks at room temperature.  The addition of heat speeds up the reaction considerably. Keep mixed plasters from freezing and from high heat environments.
