Refinishing Earthaus Marble Finish

 1. Sand down the Olive Oil Soap Seal: Remove the hydrophobic Olive Oil Soap burnished  layer to expose absorbent textured plaster:

• Use coarse sandpaper on a drywall sand pole (80-100 grit) or an electric sander to sand off the sealed/burnished layer as well as any existing high spots or ridges. 
• Sand evenly, taking care not to damage or gouge the surface until the plaster is smooth, matte, and absorbent.
• Thoroughly clean the plaster with a damp cloth to ensure it is completely free of dust particles.

2. Re-Apply Marble Plaster finish coat: Follow the steps in the Marble Finish Application Guide. 

OR

1. Start over again: Follow the steps in the Marble Finish Application Guide. 

• Prime with added Primer Grit over existing Marble Finish. 
• Apply Stone Plaster base coat
• Apply Marble Plaster finish coat
• Burnish with Olive
